About Us

Our friendship spans two decades. Over the course of that friendship, we developed a professional relationship that was based on our common interest of supporting others.

It was this drive that led us to establish Still Waters Therapy. We believe in meeting people exactly where they are in life in order to assist them in creating new pathways and establishing emotional success. Our experience, knowledge, humor and empathy will help foster the skills you need to enact changes to allow yourself to embrace and enjoy the journey of life.

I believe that one of the most important aspects of psychotherapy is establishing a trusting rapport with your therapist so you can freely discuss the challenges you are facing with support and without judgment. I began my career working with adolescents and quickly expanded to working with adults and couples.

We are all facing a world that is changing all the time, access to more information then we could ever need as well as a need that many have for immediate gratification and immediate responsiveness. This, along with life’s daily challenges, can cause anxiety and/or depression to become consuming. We will talk about ways to make change, develop new coping skills, how to take care of yourself and how to alter the way you are thinking and what you are focusing on to find more joy in life.

Over the last ten years I have also developed a passion for helping women navigate the many challenges and life changes that occur over our lifetime. I have worked specifically with women struggling with fertility, parenting, marital issues, perimenopause and menopause. My approach is client focused, always meeting a client where they are at, with a vantage point that we are not alone in this journey.

Know thyself. Socrates believed that self-knowledge was essential for having a good life. What does it mean to truly know yourself? How could you change your life by delving deeper into yourself? Therapy is a safe space to do such things. Life can be complicated and challenging for a myriad of reasons. My job is to help you untangle this complication and aid you in your journey towards self exploration.

In my 22 years of experience working with families and individuals, I’ve met so many fascinating and complex humans. My expertise ranges from teens to adults and, in particular, a passion to support women born from some of my own personal experiences.

I support women suffering from post partum depression, infertility, hormonal imbalances and life changes where I will infuse traditional and alternative methods of treatment.

I also have a passion for my work with teens. This generation of teens are struggling more than ever and I take a warm, empathic and informal approach to help them open up and tease out their concerns.

Please reach out to me if you want to take a step towards your wellness. All are welcome. Through co-discovery, I’d like to help you live your most authentic life.
